``Advantages and disadvantages of fast food´´
Many people believe that eating fast food is dangerous for our health because
it contains higher amounts of salt, fats and calories. Nevertheless, fast
food restaurants are usually crowded. So, there are both advantages and
disadvantages to this idea.
On the one
hand, fast food saves time and money. Fast food restaurants offer us an
efficient service with low prices. It’s quick, and an easy way to eat something
fast. In addition to this, in some places, you can find menus that are not
unhealthy, like salad or fruit, for example, in Burger King.
On the other
hand, fast food has a negative and clear effect on our health. There are people
who eat in excess this kind of food. In fact, over 25 percent of Americans
consume fast food every day. One result of this is that the risk factor of
heart diseases and diabetes increases, because of cholesterol. Moreover, fast
food puts on weight quickly and it doesn’t help you to get in shape.
Personally,
I think that fast food is really bad and we should avoid going to restaurants
which sell this type of meals. Healthy food has only benefits and it is
always much better.
