This story
took place in North America in 1757. It was the third year of the war between
England and France for the possession of the continent. The General Munro,
from Fort William Henry, asked for reinforcements to fight against the attack
of General Montcalm, who was French.
In another place, two sisters and a man was getting ready to travel to Fort William Henry. They also needed an Indian to guide them until the Fort for a secret path. But the women didn't trust in the Indian. On the way a singing teacher joined them.
Over there, there were three men: two Mohicans (Uncas and Chingachgook) and a friend (Hawk-eye). They were friendly with the British. All of them coincided at a point of the forest. Mohicans realized that the guide didn't lead them to the right direction. Magua, who was the guide, was a Huron and Hurons helped the French army. He had tried to lose the sisters and the men but the Mohicans appeared in the best moment. Magua began to run and he disappeared. The Mohicans couldn’t catch him.
